My Skin Care Routine – Updated

I haven’t done a post like this in a while, and when I look back at my other one things have changed a lot!  There’s only one product that I’ve found that I’ve liked enough to keep consistent over the past year and a bit, but otherwise things have changed up a lot!

Boo Bamboo Anti-Aging Line Firming Face Cream Review

20140630-011524-4524652.jpg
I was sad when the day cream I had been using was no longer available to me online (unless I wanted to order it from the UK at extraordinary shipping rates) so I was doing tons of research into other creams when I was lucky enough to win a full size container of Boo Bamboo’s Anti-Aging Line Firming Face Cream. I don’t know what surprised me more: the texture being exactly like my spa brand of face cream that I loved, or the scent being very similar to the exact same spa cream. What makes it even better is that it is available at a fraction of the price! Paying $20 for twice as much product as I was paying $80 for seems like a screaming deal!

Chagrin Valley Complexion Bar Review

With an upcoming trip to Europe I am looking for a waterless alternative to cleansing my face so that carry-on luggage is easy. It would be great to not have to count my cleanser in the precious space available for liquids! Naturally, my first stop for a cleansing complexion bar was Chagrin Valley and I ordered their Grapeseed and Tomato bar and their Fig and Plum bar. Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum Review

I have received so many samples of this product I probably almost had a full size by the time I got around to giving Kahina Giving Beauty’s eye serum a try. Thankfully that meant I really got a chance to experience the product and know if it worked for me and if it is worth it’s heafty/luxurious price tag 20140623-030251-10971421.jpg Continue reading Kahina Giving Beauty Eye Serum Review

May Lindstrom The Honey Mud Review

Sorry again for the lack of posts. Like I mentioned before, things have been incredibly busy lately and I just haven’t been able to make the time to sit down and write. I really hope to get back into my regular schedule soon, but until then I thank you for your patience and understanding.

May Lindstroms products come at a steep price point, but so far the two products I have tried are absolutely worth every penny spent! The Honey Mud is an amazing product that I fell for on the first use, but wanted to give it a few more tries before signing off on it.

Chagrin Valley Whipped Squalene Face and Eye Moisturizer Review

If you read my blog last month you’ll know what a big fan of Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve I am. They are a great company with great values and high performing products. There are so many products in their line that just work so well, and at this price point you really can’t beat ’em. Really, even at a higher price point I don’t think some of these products can be beat.

Chagrin Valley Argan Pumpkin Facial Oil Review

I have been a huge fan of Chagrin Valley Soap and Salve for over a year and they are the brand that I just keep coming back to.  Their product line is extensive and I keep going back to so many of their products that I think I will be ordering from them for a very, very long time.

Facial oils are growing rapidly in popularity, and I have tried a large variety of them, and even have a recipe of my own.  Chagrin Valley has a small collection of facial oils available, and generously provided a large sample size for me to try out.
