I’m all for gentle cleansers and I am recently loving the Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser (review) but sometimes your skin just really needs a deep clean, you know? Ever since going with ‘green’ facial products I have found that my skin is clean, just not quite as clean feeling as I was previously used to. This might be because my skin is healthier and more soft, but part of me is worried that I have a lot of residual oil, dirt and makeup stretching my pores and preparing to have a massive breakout. But then I found my proverbial knight in shining armour to wage war on this potential uprising: One Love Organics Chia Whip Foam Cleanser.
Ingredients: Saponified organic oils of Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Jobjoba Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Organic Chia Seed Supercritical CO2 Oil, Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Rosemary Extract.

This cleanser gets your skin squeaky clean. Literally. Surprisingly, because it’s a foaming cleanser, it doesn’t dry out my skin that much. Don’t get me wrong, I definitely couldn’t get away with a fair amount of moisturizer after using this, but my skin wasn’t screaming for how dry it became. If I were to use this everyday I know that my normal to dry skin would become very unhappy, but as a once a week deep cleansing treatment this product has found it’s niche for me. I will definitely be working it into my regular skin care routine probably followed by a moisturizing mask.
