In the November-December True Beauty Box I received a full size of the Anti-Aging 24 Hour Cream for Sensitive Skin by Green People. I have been using their Vita Min mask for a while now so I decided to give the moisturizer from both lines a try and see which one worked better for me. Here’s what I found:

A few months ago Nicole from EcoChicBeautyDiva hosted a giveaway for Seabuckthorn and I was lucky enough to win a huge sample set from the Seabuckthorn company. I gave my first impressions in a post when they first arrived. Now that I have had some time to give the products a good trial I though I’d share my thoughts. My boyfriend has been helpful in giving some of these products a try too, so I have both of our experiences to share.

This serum doesn’t smell the greatest but you can’t deny the results! After just three weeks my skin went from dull to having a serious lit-from-within glow. I could even go with just a touch of blush and mascara! That’s unheard of for me and my pasty, translucent, blotchy winter skin. Part of the ‘Getaway Sample Kit’ I received from Annmarie Gianni skin care included the Aloe-herb Cleanser, Ayurvedic Facial Scrub, Repair Serum, Herbal Facial Oil and Neroli Toning Mist. I received this in my True Beauty Veganista Box for July/August. I prefer purchasing the Veganista Box rather than the Flirt or Indulge box because I know that the ingredients will be cruelty free. I’ve been using this product as an eye cream because I don’t really need a lot of Q10 anti-aging on my skin just yet, but the fine lines around my eyes could potentially benefit from it. I know that dermatologists and aestheticians say that you’ll have to use an anti-aging product for more than 30 days before you can expect to see results, so if my opinion of this product changes by then I’ll update this post. However, after using it for just over two weeks I have already noticed some marginal improvement.

On my wishlist a few weeks back I had talked about two different vitamin C serums that I wanted to try. After looking a little bit more into both of them I opted for the 100% Pure serum mainly because of all of the other antioxidant and natural vitamin C containing ingredients were on the list. I’m all for simplicity but I want results…naturally 😉

Having tried a few different cleansers and facial products I have narrowed down my skin care routine. One of the best things you can do for your skin is to keep it simple, and keep it consistent. As tempting as it is to keep trying new facial creams, serums, cleansers, etc, your skin will respond best if you find something that works well and stay with it. That doesn’t mean that I’m not on the search for something better, but for now I use the following products every day and really like how balanced and healthy my skin is.
