Normally I’m a huge fan of everything Chagrin Valley and I really, really wanted to like this bar for all of the moisturizing ingredients contained within it. Sadly, this was not the case.
As with so many Chagrin Valley products, this bar is made with only the best certified organic ingredients. It easily makes a rich, foamy lather without any sulfates and leaves my skin feeling clean and a little bit more hydrated than it does with a body wash. The scent? Oh the terrible scent! I just can’t get over how awful this pungent scent is. It smells sour, bitter and just down right foul. I took a risk and bought the full sized bar for this soap, but I am regretting that now. I figure it’s just a one off, as pretty much everything else I have tried by this company is an absolute win.
